I have been in a major dispute with my freeholder for 4 years. I recently took legal advice.
I am being threatened with legal action (again ::))
My solicitor says if it goes to court I will win and she will be liable for costs cloud9:
If I lose I will be deemed to be in breach of my lease conditions and will be made homeless as the lease can be cancelled sad24:
I am presently minded to go to court, BUT..........
What would you do?

If your solicitor has written "If you go to court you will win", you are bombproof and covered by the Law Society professional conduct indemnity.
As she will not have done that, I would still go for it, as the opposition will have been advised they might lose.
Go to court and be prepared to settle on the steps is my advice.

Sage words, Mr Darwin sir worthy:
My freeholder is, unfortuantely, bonkers. NO woman of that age and size should favour stretchy leopard skin print clothing noooo:

seconded, very well put
The only thing I would add is if you lose you will be bitter but if you were to fold now you will be bitter forever but with yourself and that can be a much harder burden.
