This post may be classed by Barman as a carp ... I think it is fair criticism.
Does anyone other member have the same difficulty in reading our topic titles because they are light blue?
It's a right sod for me. ::)

Click on PROFILE
Click on Look and Layout Preferences
Click on Current Theme - Change
All users are currently using the same (default) setting. If you click on Change you can alter the setting to an alternate that may suit your needs better. Can't guarantee it but try it and let us know if it is any better. On offer is a more basic format that looks to me to be easier to read if the light blue is the difficulty.
Hope it makes a difference

I've tried it out and am using it at the moment. Seems to me that the blue thread headings are clearer ~ though still blue. It is certainly more "basic".
PS
For a quick edit .... If the above does not improve your viewing pleasure perhaps you could try adjusting the contrast and colour settings on your monitor. That should "Sharpen" the image.
-
Does anyone else share my problem.
Topic headings printed in light blue, are too difficult to read.
Why not black, like body typeface?
Yeah yeah! So I am a VIP ... Visually Impaired Person.
My Mother told me I might, so I asked if I could just do it until I needed glasses.
It IS addictive! noooo:
-
Is there an echo in here?

I give up ::)

From nine till five I have to spend my time at work
The job is very boring, I'm an office clerk
The only thing that helps pass the time away
Is knowing I'll be back at Echo Beach some day
-
In an idle moment last night I used Google Earth to revisit some of my holiday locations when I was, er, young.
Sad really. ANd odd to see how some places are unchanged whilst others have been massively developed in the interim (but not Sikinos)

I have just finished trying to work out how apparently said what I said when I didn't seem to have said it at all...
evil:
I am trying to cope with a nervous breakdown (No, not me - my computer) and am somewhat preoccupied...
Also have to type fast before it re-boots - again! evil:

Why ARE there two versions of this dumb thread?

Does that help?

Does that help?
I dunno... I still can't read it... noooo:

Is there some way of changing the background or foreground colours on here? I find some of the stuff a bit hard to read.

Where did my thread go?

Merged! point:

That stuff they put on food labels now is too small. I shall have to start taking a magnifying glass with me to the shops cry:

cussing:
How many hard to read threads do we need??
I'm guessing the answer lies in the range <1
Prepare to be merged!

This is getting confusing surrender:

Funny thing is that Mozo will find it all hard to read... whistle:

And then he will start another Hard to Read thread.
Perhaps I should get one ready for him?

Banghead

You all missed the point.
In his first "Hard to Read" thread Mozo was asking if anything could be done to help him as he found the light blue difficult to read ~ understandable and I tried to help him with a couple of suggestions.
In his second "Hard to Read" thread he was in fact alluding to the fact that his mother had told him the wanking would ruin his eyesight and he asked if he could just do it (ie wank) until he needed glasses. Unfortunately he didn't stop in time!
Which is why I didn't merge the two and played along with the picture of Echo Canyon etc.
If the old bugger makes a joke do at least try to find it ::)
Y'know it's getting harder to find the staff with every passing day. Banghead

I found that quite hard to read! cry:

Profound apologies Snoopy, for confusing you with Nick! (not that there's anything wrong with Nick).
My Horlicks is not working ... it's just after 6 am here and I am flaked out! Tried to do the "change" thing and am totally bollocksed.
Will try again tomorrow. Ta ... ever so!

SWMBO seems to have taken it fairly well.
If hysterical crying, wailing and beating her head against the wall can be considered normal that is.
I think the cries of "How could you let them do this you stupid b@st@rd" indicate that the blame is being apportioned between the workmen and me in an even handed manner.
I do not take too seriously the promise to "Geld them and you when they return on Monday" as it is probably emotional talk.
I'm still flying but may have to bail out soon.

FFS. Just how much discussion can this 'topic' receive? ::)
May I suggest you either get a decent pair of specs or a braille monitor.
What's next? Blisters on your fingers through typing too much shite?

I should leave it there if I were you ~ what started as a perfectly normal plea from Moz for help with reading the light blue on this board and an attempt to help him got mixed up with a joke from Mozo about the possible cause of his blindness. Unfortunately Our revered and respected leader (All Hail his name) missed the joke and merged the threads. Now we have two threads on two not dissimilar subjects running together as one. At about that point Nick made a comment about something that he and I had been PMing about and I responded to that comment. From there on it all went downhill faster that a tanker of Darwin's finest slurry. OK?

I got carried away with the merge tool then... redface:
