Interesting how Ed is slamming zero hour contracts when 68 labour MP's have used them over the last couple of years and labour councils have used over 20000 of them. rubschin:

Been following it on the Beeb page with it's running Fact checks
Seems like Nigel is both liked and hated most (Mr Marmite?) and imho the real winners are going to be the Millipede and Sturgeon

Only coz they're buying votes.
But that Bennett idiot makes them look good
Interesting:
Quote from: the Beeb
Half-time poll Posted at 21:14 An ITV News/ComRes poll of 615 people watching the debate put Nigel Farage in the lead at the half-time stage. Some 24% of people felt he was performing best, ahead of Ed Miliband, who most impressed 21% of people. Then came David Cameron (19%) and Nicola Sturgeon (18%), followed by Nick Clegg (10%), Natalie Bennett (7%) and Leanne Wood (2%)
More on that ITV News/ComRes poll. While 24% of those 615 viewers thought Nigel Farage was "winning", 22% thought he was performing worst. That's more than any other leader. Some 21% thought Natalie Bennett was the worst performer, followed by Leanne Wood (18%), David Cameron (17%), Ed Miliband (10%), Nick Clegg (7%) and Nicola Sturgeon (6%).

Survation for @dailymirror #bbcdebate Who do you think ‘won’ the debate? Miliband 35% Sturgeon 31% Farage 27% Bennett 5% Wood - 2%
Good grief.... ::)
Those polls are always a bit skewed as committed voters see their leaders through rose tinted specs
But Millipede is doing far better than I ever expected both last night and in general and I had him as the close winner over Sturgeon last night. Biggest loser was Cameron.

Composure mostly, I expected him to be awful like a spoilt child as the other Ed continues to be. The Labour manifesto is far better than I expected too. I can't vote for them, not with both Eds
Elections are fascinating as a spectator sport.

I'd just like to know exactly how big this "mansion tax" is going to be - based on what they reckon it's going to fund it would have to be about a million a pop on any property worth more than a million!
And as for the three neo-marxist fruitbat females, if I hear the fish say housssing one more time I'll not be responsible for my actions . . .

Oh noes.... noooo:
It will only have to be £500,000 on each property... They also have the Banker's bonuses tax remember.... ;)
Which reminds me of this...
Do we have any moronic wingers here...? rubschin:

I hate to tell you this Marley but none of here are typical Brits so an evenly balanced audience will always look a bit odd to us. I'm rather glad meself not to be typical .
And UKIPs auditors CEBR said the average mansion tax bill would need to be £24k. Enough to make the Ecclestones annoyed but not exactly that £500k. They also said that the simpler system (wot I'm been saying for yonks) of just uncapping council tax would raise more

I've set it to record but I did that with all the others and never watched one recording. Easier to follow the live text feed and catch the endless repeats of the best extracts on the news

Millipede seemed OK but he really has left himself in a pickle if he doesn't win a majority. On what I saw I thought Clegg did well but his message was he wants to be a strong third place and we all know what third is (not even first of the losers)
Next Thursday night could be fascinating. A late nighter at the VP?

A constituency where a huge percentage are university students and Nick is seen as not only a liar regarding scrapping tuition fees but taking the piss by allowing the maximum price increase. Something tells me Nick's next question to the public will be along the lines of 'do you want fries with that?' eveilgrin:
