I remember first having the rubber keyed 48k version then getting the Spectrum Plus when I was a kid  cloud9:

There is a retro shop in Truro that sells the originals, I was gutted when I found out that a game I had about 5 copies of for some reason now goes for £800 a shot.  Banghead

I remember spending a rainy afternoon programming beep codes into my speccy because the manual had the instructions to get it to play hall of the mountain king and I was curious what it would sound like.  cloud9:
