What is it with people who cannot describe or explain anything without saying "If you like".

You sound(?) very Welsh there anyway it's hard to explain what I mean unless it grates on you when people do it but I''ll try.

"Do you get/know what I mean?" does it for me.   I feel an almost irrepressible urge to hit people who say that with a big lump of wood.
