;D  Seems you know the wheeze.  For the benefit of others:

Someone I know is effectively self employed but instead formed a company that takes the contracts, pays him no salary and instead pays him and his wife rather large dividends each year (taxed lower than salary).  Once a year they go to a good restaurant for their AGM, book the cost against the company (so no tax on that) and produce a set of minutes that essentially say "the accounts and dividends were approved as were the plans for the next year"

He thinks it would be pushing it to have a strategic planning away day (aka their long haul holiday) but I reckon that would work too
