I'd just like to say I'm back at work after a couple of weeks leave and already (half an hour in) I've had enough!

Welcome back Uncle... console yourself with a virtual pint on the house.

I am trying to get going again today. I have pretty much forgotten what I do. My "to do" list says, commandingly, CALL SG!
Who is SG? And why do I have to call him/her? noooo:

Not much, Wenchy and Darwin are away (not together). Nick has been Nick, I got stung by a wasp on Sunday and didn't have a Bank Holiday on Monday. sad24:

And of course my lad is back to the fracture clinic this afternoon for his third visit since you called in ......
But of course the operative words in your statement were "Nothing UNUSUAL"

Quite so. And is he recovering well?

I understand how you feel Uncle M but I have to say after just having spent a weekend with my mother down in the West Country it is almost a relief noooo:
The blessed Old Dear pulled a smart one and I had at attend a 'family meeting' with her - I was of course given no prior warning and she pulled rank evil:
Apparently this is a regular thing that all her remaining brothers and sisters do (there were 8 of them - now down to 7 through natural decrease) and it involves sitting round in one of their houses, with their respective hubby's/ wives, dogs and any other associated pets and they 'catch up' with each other.
OMG !!!!! It was a gorgoeus day - I could have been out sunbathing, in a pub drinking, in a restuarant scoffing, in a shopping centre browsing - but oh no - in a garden answering questions from the inquistion about what I am doing with my life - to interfering old busy bodies I have not seen in over 20 years (that is not my mum by the way but she does fulfill some of this criteria lol:)

I think I've mentioned before about our annual family 'get together' at my Uncle's place in Suffolk. We all have a great time, the children go off a play together while the rest of us catch up on the family news. Most of us only get to see each other at this one time and it's well appreciated by all.
I only see one of my brothers regularly, news of the others is gleaned from my mother when I visit or phone her as she acts as a 'clearing house' for the immediate family.

You could have a word with your football team, they are a disgrace to the League!
Did you know Snoopy and Bouncer are both above you?
Oh, and Welcome back. ;)

My boss, the only woman ever to have been pregnant had a bank holiday Tuesday today. Her stomach hurts 'almost feels like my skin is stretching' I kid you not.
I quite fancied a well deserved sicky but it is (another) busy week and we had two new recruits starting today. One recruit 75 minute late. Have they been set up to receive a security pass, it logon, ah no, that's you unable to do anything for 3 weeks!
