Title: A very English protest
Post by: Nick on May 04, 2014, 04:44:18 PM
Nottingham is building a new tram line which has caused chaos for miles for the last two years. There is no sign of an end to it. It is horrific and the last straw was the contractors getting an award for being Considerate Contractors. Some folks are trapped outside (or inside)  their houses some days. The traffic is gridlocked.

The French would have been setting stuff on fire by now. Being English .........:

Um when they said 'big band' I think that they were exaggerating just a little, when I say a 'little' what I really mean is a couple of trombones, a ukelele and a 'gate crasher' on the spoons. It rather puts me in mind of this.....

BONZO DOG (DOO-DAH) BAND - 'The Intro And The Outro' - 45rpm 1967 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DUEAG5eO6c#)

Makes me smile every time I hear it.  ;D
