Title: Bastard Amazon
Post by: Steve on February 28, 2014, 06:03:37 PM
So not content with charging me £49 a year for their free Prime delivery, Amazon have now decided I must subscribe to their utter shite "LoveFilm" service as well and will stuff it up to £79 a year

Or more like £0 a year as we'll unsubscribe.

beginning of the end for Amazon?

lol: lol: You are quite right Steve was playing using the the little known 'Friday night frustration' rules which of course rules nebb out, crafty but excellent move if I may say so young Apey. worthy:

I have used Amazon to sell 'stuff' in the past. A week or so ago I went to my account as I wanted to sell some more 'stuff' Amazon set the postage prices. This means that I can't offer free P and P as other sellers of the same products are doing. I phoned them to query this and was told that I could only set my own postage rates if I up grade to a 'prime seller'. Kerrching for Amazon. This means that I can't be competitive.

Next week I will be taking my business elsewhere. evil: Bastards.

Ah yes it does help pay the server bills and it is so easy to use and  . . .  and . . . .

Just can't see why they've decided to make its loyal customers bail out its failing crap film service.  And as for getting horrible with Miss C then that's diadabolical.

Bastards!  cussing:

In a few moments between gardening I thought I would review a couple of the products wot I had bought recently...

Quote from: Barman
Great mic - quality control could be improved...

Arrived quickly and was well packaged.

Initially didn't work with my camera (Panasonic DMC-FZ300) and had been shipped without the foam windscreen (actually, I can't see a space in the box for the foam windscreen).

I contacted technical support who responded very quickly but couldn't explain why the mic would not work or if anybody else had got it to work with my camera. I asked them if I could investigate for a while, possibly re-wire the connector and return it if I couldn't get it working which they agreed to.

When I opened up the connector to re-wire it I discovered that a teeny-tiny bit of screening from the signal cable was shorting the connector. I removed this and the mic worked perfectly!

The foam screen was shipped from their US warehouse and arrived a week or so later.

Reasonable under the circumstances i thought and I gave them 4 stars...

Just give it one star and said it didn't work. That would be permissable under the guidelines.  Accurate with your experience and without malice.

I'm sure the supplier would much rather this type of review  noooo:

What a bunch of hypocritical Amazonian cnuts.   These are the fuckwits that allowed all these one star reviews by people that never even bought the product

https://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/7178681896/ref=cm_cr_dp_hist_one?ie=UTF8&filterByStar=one_star&showViewpoints=0 (https://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/7178681896/ref=cm_cr_dp_hist_one?ie=UTF8&filterByStar=one_star&showViewpoints=0)

Example:  "I don't care if the Hairdryer climbsTrees and gives Milk, the cost of this item is all about "I have a Dyson Hairdryer" I can hear them now!! I wish someone from Dyson could explain the price? I think I would rather shave my Wife,s head and buy her a Syrup ,crazy"

And I reported them all to Amazon and did they remove any?   noooo:

Dear Amazon,

If you are going to use external sites to advertise that long awaited shows are now available free on prime please remember to INCLUDE WHETHER OR NOT IT'S ONLY AVAILABLE TO AMERICAN CUSTOMERS!!!

Would it have been so hard to add in a message saying that it wasn't available to watch in the UK?  Banghead

Was looking forward to going through the first 2 seasons of the Expanse as I'm now off until the weekend but nooooooooooo, there isn't a single mention about it being region locked until you click the sodding play icon.  cussing:
