He should get a Sierra  whistle:

 evil:

I was doing a service...

I took the sump guards off to drain the oil and noticed oil dripping from the front diff...

Turns out the filler plug is buggered - threads stripped. The plug is steel and the casing alloy...

So, I've spent the rest of the day trying to track down a suitably sized (M15) Helicoil kit or sump plug repair kit....

It is almost impossible to do anything like that here... A Cypriot shop owner simply won't say "I don't have it but I know who does...." so you end up driving around the whole bloody island @ €1.45 per litre and a dripping diff...

So, have sealed it up with PTFE tape and am trying to buy something on line but it turns out to be a difficult size....  Banghead
