Every second the sun converts 620 million tonnes of hydrogen into 615 million tonnes of helium and 5 million tonnes of energy.  eeek:

Rather a long time since I did physics at school, but when did they re-classify the tonne as a unit of energy?

I suppose it was when they introduced Football pitches and London buses as SI units?

I suppose it was when they introduced Football pitches and London buses as SI units?
