We brought my Dad out of hospital that day, he died 10 days later. I was less affected by the events in London but still shocked by the events.

Bit close for comfort that.
A very sad, disturbing and also a very strange day. Mrs K was in London then and I remember what seemed ages before I knew she was OK. You have to feel for those that had similar delays thinking "all is going to be OK isn't it" and then getting awful news
If anyone's ever at the Park Lane end of Hyde Park, there's a very distinctive memorial to the victims. I can't say anyone would enjoy time there but it is very moving.

My mate Beaky (Padlock Pockets has met him) was going to get on one of the tubes, but started talking to someone and decided to get the next train. He was covered in shite from the explosion coming back down the tunnel. Lucky chap.
