25 minutes  noooo:

You'd think that after 3 years an organisation dedicated to Libertarianism would have put the text on line.

Wasn't Hannan the guy that said Greece should totally default on the money it owed to Cyprus?

I don't think it would work as well just reading the text - he has real passion in his argument...

As for Greece, I think he was right... defaulting would have been the right thing (for Greece - not for Cyprus obviously)... They'd be a lot better off than they are at the moment...

Well that's 25 minutes of my life I won't get back.   evil:

The guy may be a genial speaker but he tells lies to support a dubious pretext that his hosts wanted to hear, it's a hard medium to review serious comment on and Greece was right to not default for short term gain and long term abyss.

Only time will tell if Greece was right or not... I can't see her ever paying back her loans tho....  noooo:

So, she will remain tied to a currency that has no relevance to her economy and will have surrendered her sovereignty to the unelected in Brussels who now call the shots...

When you're in debt you have surrendered some control over your life to others, same applies with nations

Voters, Greek and otherwise, have to realise that if you vote for idiots you can't just walk away from any responsibility for the outcome.  What annoys me most about Greece is the disproportionate way the burden has been placed on those with less.  Still an awful lot of rich people in Greece, still see Mercedes dealerships there.
