Young G jnr Bear cub is fast finding out how to deal with the knob heads in the workplace.
This fat nasty bint got on the bus the other day apparently, and she refused to take a ticket from him, but he insisted stating quite correctly that if she didn't have one and the inspector got on, she'd be in trouble....and him too possibly too.
She snatched it off him, screwed it up and lobbed it out of the still open door. evil:
He got out of his seat, went out, picked it up and attempted to give it her back, which she refused to do.
He then told her that their was a used tickets bin on the bus if she was really that adamant about not holding on to it, and no need to litter the streets. happ096
She went red faced with fury and told him "I'm going to tell my husband of you, and he works for the same company as you too, so watch out lad"
'Roger' did indeed tackle him the next day (last week) and launched into a blistering attack on him, all within the boss's hearing range.
He came out and told 'Roger' to stop being such a knob, and tell your wife to sort her temper out while you're at it if she wants to carry on being carried! happy001
Young cub was glowing with satisfaction after this.
'Roger ' just glares at G jnr now apparently. whistle:
Did I tell you's about him taking on 6 nasty vile disgusting teenage pikeys a few months ago, and turfing them off in the middle of nowhere btw? lol:

Wouldn't say 'boo to a goose' 2 years ago. noooo:
If someone is constantly ringing the bell, I also think it's reasonable to assume they want to get off too, don't you? whistle: lol:
'They' weren't happy apparently...at all. cloud9:

Testing day for the young G jnr.
Came home last night VERY upset.
Chester bus station is very tight, and he is driving a full size single decker.
He slightly mis-judged his exit and very lightly clipped the drivers side mahoosive mirror of a National Express coach.
The driver wasn't in it, but young Growler got out to survey the damage.
Minimal on the NE bus, but an 18" scratch on the rear of the top panel n/s on his.
He was mortifed and reported it as soon as he got back to the depot.
The gaffer told him to ring the rozzers just in case the NE driver reported it to them, and also told him he would be 'interviewed' today. scared2:
He's not home. so can only assume he's not been sacked. whistle:
Is this the new job........ rubschin:
-
Can he drive a boat......... rubschin:

It is getting stupid these days I am having to do full investigations into stupid things like snapped airlines and if the driver is found to be at fault discipline them..... evil:
FFS it can happen to anyone ... Usually the people who decide these things haven't a bloody clue .... cussing:

I read this straight after the 'TMR Underworld' thread.
Took my head a few moments to get round 'snapped airlines' redface:

Meanwhile, his new gaffer said diddly squat to him yesterday.
Just handed him his duty sheet and said, "there you go sunbeam".
Could this actually be his punishment....keeping him on the edge like, wondering, worrying? rubschin:
It's werking. ::)
Part seemingly yes.
Handed a standard but very snotty letter last night for a disiplinary hearing for round about now actually. scared2:
Advising him to have a union rep with him, and with the possibilty of instant dismisal.
They better hadn't, or I'LL be heading straight in there with all guns blazing! Angry9:
He was absolutely besides himself with worry last night.
They are bang out of order .... noooo:
They should have done a full investigation with him and explained what could happen.. Given him the outcome in writing...
If it was to go to disciplinary he should be given at least 24hrs notice and more time if he needs it and the opportunity to have representation from a union rep or colleague .
He should get hold of a copy of their Disciplinary Procedure cause if the worst comes to the worst the can appeal on the grounds that they did not follow procedure...
He should also be given a copy of all notes and evidence to prepare with..

We get a new Unit or trailer in within two days they are covered in scratches dents etc. With vehicles that big they get caught on trees etc. can't avoid them. Mirrors get caught every day again cause of the size of the vehicle... In some cases I have to admit it is the drivers fault but mostly not ...
It is like large vehicles turning left on a tight corner they signal pull out a bit to get the angle to turn and some bloody cyclist or car shoots up the nearside and hits the HGV then our driver gets the blame... Same on roundabouts the number of phone calls I get, complaints about our drivers cutting them up .. Common sense
should tell you they don't bend and need space. I have to be really polite and explain the reason to them an calm them down .... When all I want to do is tell them they are fucking idiots.. Mostly men I might add ... Angry9:
-
He presumably was given 24 hours notice.
The tone of the (granted) standard letter was very intimidating tbh and imo.
He hasn't turned up here, so can only presume he's been given either a verbal or written warning....FFS! Banghead
Just have a look at the next bus/hgv you see, and see how many scrape marks are on it. evil:
Honesty it seems, doesn't always pay. noooo:
It seems to me it is his management that are incompetent twats.... It sounds like the letter is bullying like he has been found guilty before he has had a hearing...
-
Agreed

NO. Bastards

That/THIS is the EXACT problem with management, EVERYWHERE! Banghead
Not everywhere, some places have a totally different culture angel1 (Which can also be a problem at times)

JOM is right some of us praise as much as possible...and don't bully but there are times when it is necessary for discipline ... But some employers are taking it too far (including mine at times but not always).
It sounds to me that G Jr' s boss is incompetent and lacks experience .... ::)

So how did Mrs G get home?
