Sent an item that I advertised on a motoring forum I frequent  that I was giving away for free, rather than taking it down the tip.
The geezer that said he'd have it asked me how much for postage.
£5.30.
OK, I'll send you the cash rather than mess around with a c/q.

That was 2 weeks ago, and it still hasn't arrived.  rubschin:
He's confirmed he sent it first class mail.
