Title: Restaurant starers, N.B. Iam actually an earthling

In a restaurant last night.
Out of the corner of me eye, I could feel I was being stared at. eeek:

Looked directly, and saw this owld ugly wumman staring at me. eeek:
She continued to stare at me, and then said summat to her old geezer...obviously some disparaging (sp) remark as they were both now sniggering, as he then turned 'round and commenced staring at me too. eeek: eeek:
The silent glares continued. eeek:

Now usually from past experience, my steely glare is sufficient to scare starers off, but not on this occasion. eeek:

Enough, so had to resort to eventually standing up, looking around and then holding and shaking me 'ed I exclaimed that "YES, I have indeed only got one 'ed, have had a shower and do actually come from plant earth". evil:

It werked, as in a state of aparent shock for daring to speak up, they finished their meal pronto, stood up and left hurriedly without so much of a glance. :thumbsup:

Now please, WTF was ALL that about ey, exactly like please? confused:

Now even I know that I'm no oil painting, but this was actually embarrassing. redface:

There wasn't anyone else in their line of vision, as it's natural to check first of course.

I have found myself inadvertently staring at people who look like someone I know. I know that it's not them but I can't help me self like.  Oh and Mr C and I dined in last night so if definitely wasn't us. ;)
