Waddington! That brings back some memories!

Spent a pleasant couple of years at Scampton - sister station to Waddo! Both had Vulcans back then!

Sadly Scampers mothballed now AFAIK

Scampton is still used for Red Arrows practice but most of it is indeed mothballed.

I never knew of this route. Charles II obviously liked the pretty route. On the places to visit they missed the Smiths Arms near the Corfe Giant (smallest pub in Englend allegedly). Great little pub like (if it's still open)  confused:
