A woman claims she was fired after donating a kidney for her boss and is now seekign damages ( finance ones not more physical ones obviously lol: )
The woman working as an assistant in this garage, which owns and operates car dealerships on Long Island. Her boss needed a new kidney.
She offered to help and became a link in a multiple-patient kidney chain - You have to give one kidney to get one.
According to the woman, the only thanks she ever got from her boss came in the form of an email reading, "Thanks more than I can ever say."
She returned to work four weeks later - but had to had more time off due to complications from the surgery, like nerve damage in her leg.
When she hired a lawyer, the woman was given a different job at another dealership 50 miles away, before being fired due to performance issues.
Strikes me this woman thought she would have a job for life after giving up a kidney to 'help' her boss noooo: Must have also been difficult for the boss to work with an employee and know that they have enabled you to carry on living - no anonymity here - they are right in front of you on a daily basis.
I may be sceptical but I would be highly suspicious of anyone who works for me offering to give me their kidney rubschin: rubschin: rubschin:
-
I wouldn't give you one. noooo:
-
I wouldn't want yours .....it would be addled with all sorts of complications noooo:
-
You could have some great new workplace slogans though rubschin:
" There is no eye in team "
"You don't have to be mad to work here but the lobotomy helps "
