Title: Spectacle woes
Post by: Nick on December 03, 2011, 06:12:54 PM: A lens popped out of my specs today evil: A teeny weeny screw had worked loose evil: I went to the opticians to have it fixed, but they couldn't fix it cussing: They then figured out the specs are only 9 months old and are therefore under guarantee. They offer to fix them, but only if they can have them and send them away for 10 days cussing:

I explain I can't drive without them and suggest they order a replacement pair under the guarantee. "Oh noes, sir, the guarantee does not cover that." Banghead Banghead Banghead

I have now fixed them with sellotape* evil:

I am buggered if I am going to pay for another pair. Any idea on where I stand on this?

*I look like a geriatric Milky Bar kid evil:
