Last Thursday I had a call from someone who wanted me to write a project proposal. FOr this I would be paid  :thumbsup: But there was a catch. ::) Ther idea had been dreamed up by some barking CEO and no one wanted it to be done, so my brief was to write an outline proposal which would be so offputting that he would abandon the idea. They wanted this done withiun 24 hours. I stayed up all night doing costings and suchlike evil:

I sent it to them and they came back asking if I could revise it to include 4 increasingly unattractive options cussing:

This I did over the weekend, ending with Option D which was the only viable option but which would cost more money than it saved  :thumbsup:, a masterstroke on my part  angel1

Today I hear my work was not in vain as the CEO decided not to proceed :thumbsup: This exercise has cost them £1500  cloud9:

I have just had another call from the same source asking me to do some options for another half witted project in order to secure its cancellation. It's bonkers cloud9:

Mort, given how much has already been wasted on frivolous bollocks and vanity projects $1500 to stop another potential one doesn't strike me as being the bad end of the deal.

Maybe someone should have stood up to their boss instead of getting a "big boy" (Nick  happy001 ) in to do it for them and spunking £1500 away.
