So there has been lots on the news about the main 6 energy companies collecting on average about £125 profit per customer per year now.
Of course they dispute this and Ofgem have conceded that this may fall next year to about £100 per customer eeek:
How will they survive ? noooo:
But all the meeja seem to focus on is simplifying bills and switching tariff. Oh and if you're on benefits then we can insulate your loft and put some energy saving measures in your homes. Banghead

Although a Conservative by inclination it is my feeling that Government have certain duties and those include ensuring that its citizens (ie those being governed) have a ready and affordable supply of energy, water and communications. They should NEVER have de-nationalised the Gas, Electricity, Water supplies or BT.
Whilst on the subject they should NEVER have given the rights to the production and supply of food to the EU to run.
