He's a Newfoundland called Whizz. He's just completed his training in water rescue as part of the Swansea Maritime Reserve Rescue Unit. As Newfoundlands are known for their swimming ability they are popular in this kind of role.
having said that the expression on Whizz's face doesnt appear to be one of a hound having fun.
