Looking at the horses are the owners inpsired by the same sadistic buggers who inspire celebs to choose ridiculous names for their kids?
Some days I think the only thing keeping me from becoming homicidal is that the voices can't agree on which weapon would be the most fun.

All Racehorse names have to be approved by the authorities. Once registered a name cannot be used again. Given the numbers of racehorses there have been over the years I'm surprised they can still think of anything to call them. whistle:

Mrs TMR (to be) has considered, doubtless after reference to her cauldron, that "Cloudy Lane" is apt to win it, although at those odds not worth a gamble. "King John's Castle" and "Risk Accessor" are deemed to be worthy of an e/w punt, should they be in the final 40 that run.

These predictions are likely to change when more "form" information becomes available.

Aintree started well for me. "Christy Beamish" netted me sixty quid. Mrs TMR (to be) has an each way on Four Chimneys in the 4.20. I have Wanango on the nose.

No good. But Mrs TMR had an each way on "I'm so lucky" in the last, which netted another score. 3.45 today, Natal (me) and Marked Man (missus to be).

Mrs TMR (to be) has finally gone for:

Cloudy lane
Slim pickings, and
King johns castle.

I'm sticking with Comply or Die and Mr Pointment (despite the burst blood vessel last time out).

Sharp Nephew at Lingfield won, so it has already paid for the day so far.

Good luck Unc.

And a Touch of Irish just came in second - had an each way on that, only fifteen quid up on that one.
Enough for now, let the Young's roll!

Mrs Growler and mini moose smugly seemed to have had a good flutter apparently.
1st 2nd 3rd between them.

My only growl was they didn't empty our account to place the bets. Banghead
I could have been nearer zero mortgage land this morning. cloud9:

All we got courtesy of the bookies, was a bottle of red. Hardly life changing ey? ::)
