Another Microsoft piece of stupidity

Anyone unwise enough to be using Edge?  Having trouble posting URLs?

Well someone on the site I mod was.  Here's the answer:  https://www.theverge.com/21591476/edge-chromium-browser-copy-and-paste-url-hyperlink-default-change-how-to

Effin stupid and arrogant move by Microsoft but hey ho it's what we've come to expect

Bizarrely, their own browser has always been rubbish from the get go... I reckon most people only use it once to search for and download its replacement.  ;D

Not sure why the EU made such a fuss about it...  noooo:

because an awful lot of people just stick with defaults that are delivered to them and that means Edge and Bing and advertising revenue for Microsoft

But to topic, what a(nother) stupid 'it's not broken so we'll fix that' move by Microshit.  And it wasted a chunk of my day sorting it out for someone as frankly I couldn't believe Edge could be that wrong https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/uk_debate_mk_2/i-can-no-longer-post-links-t9648.html
