Yes and no, most of these idiots are trying to do their own version of freerunning, an urban 'sport' that grew from Parkour which was a French military training discipline developed in the 1980's aimed at getting someone from one end of an assault course to the other is the shortest time possible. 
Some days I think the only thing keeping me from becoming homicidal is that the voices can't agree on which weapon would be the most fun.
