The Daily Post (Welsh daily paper published by Mirror Group) today sports the headline:

GIRL HIT BY CAR WAITING FOR SCHOOL BUS

So I asked the shop assistant how they had intended to get a car onto the school bus  noooo:

Why could they have not put GIRL WAITING FOR SCHOOL BUS WAS HIT BY CAR if they really don't want to punctuate headlines?

Nothing has been said about car or driver.

Local councillors are "demanding action" as if they are not the ones who decide where crossings, bus stops etc are placed  ::)

Police are "appealing" for witnesses ..... apparently a whole heap of kids waiting to board 3 school buses are not enough witnesses for them to work with.  ::) ::)

TBH I'm glad the kid is OK but I think we all know it was horseplay at the bus stop.

Why all these local councillors are jumping on the band wagon made me pause but then I remembered they are all up for election in May so that solved one puzzle.

All I need to wonder about now is what possessed me to buy the friggin' paper in the first place .... I was only going for a haircut.

It's better than I ever even knew.  They say that the world was built for two.  Only worth living if somebody is loving you.  Baby now you do.
