I'd have thought this might have been more apt for Nick:

No, I had forgotten about Jonah, but felt a kind of kinship when I saw him again. He may have been formative.

Incidentally, The Boy was fascinated by the scenes of caning (Bash Street Kids). "Did that really happen?"

No, I had forgotten about Jonah, but felt a kind of kinship when I saw him again. He may have been formative.

Incidentally, The Boy was fascinated by the scenes of caning (Bash Street Kids). "Did that really happen?"
