Why Not???

You cannot claim to be a sad anorak techno geek without at least one of those items. Come on, 'fess up - which do you have?
"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Sad techno geeks own things like external hard drives and have their pcs networked and talk about hubs and bandwidth.

Bet he has all those!  point:

redface: I am not a sad techno geek,  rubschin:, I hope, yet I have all of the above and more, how else do you back up several computers,  use them in the garden or anywhere else in or on the property, share files with others, or download huge files at the speed of light?  cloud9:
