Something died in my kitchen
« on: March 20, 2011, 11:35:40 AM »
Went I got in last night I went into the kitchen and there was an awful , really repugnant smell .

Nothing obvious had been cooked. I have since spent most of the morning trying to trace the source.

The Brat has just got up and I asked her what the smell was as it wasn't there when I left.

"Dunno " she helpfully said

So back I go ...nothing in bins , pull out washing machine etc .

Half an hour goes by and then she comes in and says ..." Oh yeah - I melted a plastic plate in the microwave last night and put it right at the back of the cupboard cos I thought you'd be mad. It could be that"  Banghead

So I pull out the offending article - a freckin Tellytubbies plastic plate she has had since she was a nipper  noooo:

I then mystified asked her why on earth I would be mad over a plate like this. " I dunno she says again, can you get me another one though "
