Just watched episode 2, laughed even more than watching the first one.  Thumbs:

This week presenting from South Africa, the trio were their bit for international diplomacy by taking the piss out of Zuma at every opportunity

I WANT the new aston martin vulcan. I don't care if it isn't street legal and that I'd need training as a contortionist to get in it I just want the damn thing. The test driver's commentary had me cracked up, the Stig's sarcastic redneck cousin.  lol:

This week had the smuggers (watching the trio did remind me of BM, Apey and Baldy) the three stooges vs special forces soldiers. (Imagine a modern day Dad's Army  whistle: )

Clarkson shows the problem with being a left handed soldier  noooo:

BM's memi saga has just been blown out of the water by the guy who built a fully road legal replica mercedes C9 from scratch in 16 months using a 1/32 scale model to get the dimensions.

All in all a corking show and well worth watching. If the rest of the series is anything like the last 2 shows then Top Gear is terminally buggered.  Thumbs:

Still catching up so only just watched it.  Utterly brilliant and the Edge of Tommorrow (did I mention it's a superb fillium) stuff was just superb

Episode 3 and 4 will be watched over the weekend

Well, whatever, nevermind

They boys are back in Whitby again this week, where Jeremy shares his opinion of trip advisor

Jeremy reviews the new Porsche 911 and seems to like it...........the end of the world must be nigh.  scared2:

The american is back testing the new BMW M4 by 'British Motor Works', commenting that "My toothbrush has more power".

The guys have a challenge to make a car from sustainable materials..........and if you weren't sure before, it's clear that Jeremy is not normal

Hammond makes an interesting parking sensor.

I will admit part of the challenge did make me feel a tad nauseous.

I thought it was a bit shyte again...  sadsmiley30:

Just watched episode three  Thumbs:

This week Jeremy and James decide to go on a grand tour of Italy, in the spirit of the olden days when young men would travel the exotic parts of Europe and drink in the culture (as opposed to these days where they just drink the alcohol).

In keeping with the refined cultural goal they had Jeremy decided to drive the new Aston Martin DB11 (It's NOT brown it's burned orange  lol:) and James the new Rolls Royce....

...

...

Then Hammond turned up to join in, driving that most subtle and refined of cars...................the Dodge Hellcat.  lol:

I'm actually surprised that James hadn't killed Hammond by the end of the segment.  lol:
Yep Episode 3 was excellent imho.  The Beeb's Top Gear is so never going to recover from this.

Not seen Episode 4 yet.  Somehow this on line streaming format takes away the immediacy effect of broadcast TV and that may be the Grand Tour's achilles heel.  There's no coffee machine discussion effect.
Well, whatever, nevermind

This week the lads are in Rotterdam

I see a possible new section for the show, words Jeremy is not allowed to use.  lol:

The boys are off to North Africa for this weeks challenge after Hammond and May kept arguing over what was the better sports car. What could possibly go wrong....?

Hammond Mazda MX-5 (hairdressermobile)
May - Zenos E10 (barebones Norfolkmobile)
Clarkson - Alfa Romeo 4C Spyder (posermobile with 'quirks')

Captain Slow manages the impossible, this may be a portent of the apocalypse...  scared2:

How the hell did the Dutch police manage to get Porsche 911's for police cars??  eeek:

In an attempt to get the Playstation generation to try boardgames May and Hammond play a version of 'battleships' you can do at home... rubschin:

Dutch late night 'motor accessory' stores, something tells me that footage of Jeremy wearing a ball gag is going to become an internet meme.  lol:

Apparently is isn't acceptable to butcher animals to establish the weight of a car in Marrakesh  noooo:

Indiana Hammond 'discovers a new civilization'

Still loads of fun to watch, the management at the Beeb must be kicking themselves now. Thumbs:
