3D or not 3D?
« on: December 18, 2009, 02:29:39 PM »
Went pictures last weekend and saw the 3D version of 'Christmas Carol'.

You have to wear the massive glasses of course which is a bit odd on the first occasion but you soon get used to it.

Overall, a highly enjoyable experience though the picture does seem a bit dark.

The illusion of 3D works amazingly well at times particularly in the opening sequence which is a massive tracking shot around Victorian London, also a few snow scenes when it eerily seemed to snowing in the auditorium.

I hope to see the 3D version of 'Avatar' in the next couple of days.

Anyone else seen a 3D move recently. By recently I mean in the last couple of years not in the 1950's with a lump of cardboard and coloured cellophane on your head?

I think my cat wants to kill me...
