Daily (it seems) M/Soft want me to download service pack 3 for XP. Since there is no way I can contact them I ignore the request. Have done for months. Last week I accepted the request and after a hour the PC informed me that it couldn't install SP3 for XP as I run Vista. I could have told them that but they wouldn't let me. Having found out for themselves I hoped that would be the end of it but no. Daily they ask and daily I refuse. I could turn off automatic updates but then I would get a daily message telling me that my PC is at risk because I have turned off "updates".  Banghead
Does anyone know how I can actually talk to these arseholes?

Seriously thinking about Windows 7 tho'. Amazon had it on offer recently  rubschin:

It has to be better that XP or Vista ~ it could hardly be worse.

It is smaller and faster... And it has a shutdown button...  cloud9:

Also, you get 32-bit and 64-bit versions in the box. So if you plus in loadsaram it will go faster still...

I've been testing it on an old box in Cyprus and have been quite impressed....
