The ashes thread.
« on: July 04, 2009, 04:46:21 PM »
The irony is that now I am off work I will be able to watch it. Double irony, its on Sky and I aint got / dont want that.

Radio for me.

Will anybody else be following it?

Normally I dont givva fork if a thread wanders orf, but maybe we could keep this for cricket fans and not get dragged off at tangents by things like cake, goats, feet, bees, breasts, tennis, the French, bananas, trains, breasts, cars, computers, nostalgia, Michael Jackson, breasts, lamps, spiders, cats, swine flu, flamethrowers, bleach, the war, lawnmowers, breasts and other general ephemera.

Aint gonna happen is it.  noooo:
I think my cat wants to kill me...

I am a keen fan of TMS. Even when it was on the TV (in the old days) I watched the pictures whilst listening to Johnners, Blowers, Bearders and co.

I refuse to pay £34 a month to Sky so will be listening only and watching the highlights on Channel Five in the evenings.

Meanwhile it seems that TMS will be broadcast on Five Live Sports Extra and not on Radio Four LW this year. Hope you have a DAB radio or, like me Freeview/Freesat so that you can get Five Live Extra ~ though there is always listening in via the 'pooter I suppose but I find that often breaks up.

(PS Don't forget Smiley is on tomorrow at 1500 hrs Radio Four)
