Yay!

The Ghost is in the QT audience!

I've submitted me main question and have a nice supplementary one lined up . . .

What could possibly go wrong . . .

Venue is Eastleigh with Paul Nuttall, Diane Abbott, Tim Farron, Esther McVey and Amol Rajan (editor of the Independent to save you googling)

Could be interesting . . .
"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Well, someone had to say it!

Translation: I've suckered the BBC with a fake question and am ready to let rip if I have the opportunity...  eveilgrin:

Esther McVey is a complete waste of space, all of her 'money saving' gimmicks for getting more people into work are a joke in the main. All it really needs is to allow Jobcentre staff to actually help claimants look for work again instead of just ticking boxes when they sign on. Outsourcing that side of things to external agencies and only making them available after 6 months of claiming is bloody ludicrous.

Currently jobcentre staff (at least the ones I know down here) are no longer allowed to do job searches for clients when they sign on, they it's now just a conveyer belt: sit them down, see the evidence, have them sign and send them off and it looks like HMRC are likely to be taking over that part in the near future. The in house job points clients used to be able to use have also been removed and clients are now forced to log into the abortion that is universal jobmatch daily in order to keep claiming benefits. Once a claimant has been signing for 6 months they are passed on to one of the agencies that have taken over all of the support roles that the jobcentre used to have,
