Annual rant. Clocks
« on: October 23, 2008, 09:13:44 AM »
I can't help myself, sorry, but I despair at this time of the year, I really do.
I'm not alone though.
The S.A.D season is upon us yet again.  sad32:

Why won't the leave the bloody clocks alone?
If the jocks and cows desire it so much, then let them have it, but the rest of us want every available minute of daylight that we can possibly gleen from this already miserable enough rancid rip off country of ours surely?

There's always one exception though mind. ::)

Mrs GROWLER. Banghead

She reckons it creates a nice cosy warm atmosphere, closing the door in the evening listening to the rain battering against the windows. confused:

I suggest she been reading far too many Boodle and Dunthorpe books, and besides, GROWLER towers will not be a warm and cosy residence this winter, as I've disconnected the bastard thieving gas fire and c/h system, and placed wooly jumpers and blankets in every room as a replacement.  eveilgrin:

It doesn't produce less daylight you daft bugger  ::)
There is the same amount of daylight only it's at the time of day when honest working folk are about their toil.
I mostly despair

Yes I KNOW that. You've misunderstood me, you beligerent old welly wearer. ::)
WHERE in my original post did I actually state that turning the clocks back produces less daylight anyway, smart arse? noooo:

I'm talkin' about us normal ones who get up at a sensible time but then have to pay the price by coming home in the dark.
