Listened to last night's match on Five Live.
Anybody see it?
It sounded to me as if England really are now a third rate team.
OK A 3-0 win but against Estonia???
Not good enough by half.
Beckham seemed to have earned his fee but he is still a one trick pony and Lampard really does not deserve an automatic place anymore. Crouch will continue to get goals and/or "assists" because he has a game much like Alan Shearer, Malcolm MacDonald, Jimmy Greaves etc in that he seldom moves far from the opponents half and opportunities will come. As for Terry and the rest of the defence ~ Lamentable is the only description that seems to fit.

Still things can't get much worse and at least I am old enough to have seen some real quality players in the past.

Mr Wench was not impressed from what I can gather. There was no stomping or throwing but quite a bit of swearing.

I don?t follow the game as you might have gathered?

However, it seems that England were quite capable of losing against Estonia at the moment so 3-0 is a result isn?t it?

Does the new manager chappie have to resign now or not?
