I hear on the wireless that that gangly Scottish tit Murray is through to the final of something or other. Hooray or Boo(him being Scottish and all)?

Ahhh, the loss, the defeat...

Quote
And despite the defeat, Murray remained sharp enough to make a joke when asked how he felt about picking up a cheque for US$1m.  "That's about £10, isn't it?" he said.

Well, the boy done good!  Madrid Masters in the bag  eeek:

And a new word in the commentators dictionary to boot ...

Quote
"Andy wins his second Masters with a Murraycoaster of a tie-break. What a way to win!"

I imagine he's now earning a Murray mint ...

Can't stand the man ~ he has been supported by the GB Tennis authorities for years, soaking up the cash, living the life of riley whilst learning his trade and he "Hates the English" ~ ungrateful little b@st@rd. Mind you his mother was at school with SWMBO who says the woman was a bitch then and still is.

I'm inclined to agree. We've seen the result of 'pushy parent' syndrome all too often.  There's a man who teaches his daughter tennis over the road every weekend ~ reminds me of the Williams sisters father and verges on mental brutality. The local tennis coach has had to step in a couple of times with ensuing arguments  ::)

Sadly there are few top level professional players in any sport who have anything resembling a rounded character and a balanced attitude.
