A Traditional Sunday at Snoopy Towers
« on: May 18, 2008, 01:35:31 PM »
This morning a brace of Kippers for Brekky. Lunch ~ Roast Beef, Yorkshire pud and trimmings (incl Horse Radish) followed by Sherry Trifle. For tea tonight Toasted Muffins, Scones with cream & jam.

SWMBO is now taking the children for a walk whilst I listen to the Test Match and finish the Sunday Papers.

Sometimes being English is just perfick cloud9:

I'm not sure why this is happening ~ P'raps it's that Mrs S#2 has finished her 2 year Post Grad course this week ~ but I ask no questions, just enjoy it all.

All seems well today in TG land I must admit. Normally, I would be putting the spuds in goose fat about now but today its a massive beef stew with dumplings.

Today, I 'ave mostly been playing with moy Sabre. Single bladed attacks and defences against swords, sabres and spears.

I'm happy to say I returned home unscathed but both metal and wooden weapons need some serious re-fettling... sparks were flying.

And I managed to cut an inch wedge into m'colleague's upholstered bench by mistake  redface:

Foil was my preferred weapon.

It is also ideal for baking turnips.
