Fishpie ~ any recipe suggestions before I start?

No shell fish ~ SWMBO is allergic to them.

Cod, smoked haddock and salmon + Parsley Sauce (Made from first principles) and mashed spuds. Topped with Grated Leicester Cheese and sliced tomatoes ~ OK?

As an adjunct to the Humph thread I was considering trying to get Pork in Cider tonight. If all goes well my Soufflé might even rise to the occasion  eyes:

Regarding the fish pie; try a Google for some variations... I like this one 'cos it's got pics

Oooops, someone didn't like the pic  redface:

That is basically what I do but I use the poaching liquid to make the parsley sauce and leicester cheese simply because that is what there is most of in the fridge today. Agree with the peas though. Helps to get the kids to eat them.

Yes, the peas will add some colour as well. As much as I love mash I try to mix it for interest... Swede, Carrot, Fennel, roasted Pine nuts, cheese... not all at once mind. So, you have red, white and green there. An Italian flag. Wash it down with a nice Soave and yer home and dry  ;D

Definitely something in the air. Spent much of the day in the Cotswolds, had a smoked salmon sarnie when out, fancied something easy tonight, so pasta, prawns with a tomato and basil sauce
