I bloody hate texting but I have to respond from time to time. For me it's about as easy as arranging grains of rice into letter shapes. evil:

However, this little widget might be the answer rubschin:

Indeed, sometimes I do when I can't be bothered to text bck. But I think it's a courtesy thing; if someone's texted rather than called I imagine it's a preference.

Not to mention texting from a different country or timezone  confused:

I used to hate having to text anybody, pure torture.

now I text them from my computer instead.

Downside:   Nothing I know of

Upside:       I get to use a normal keyboard (that's as difficult as I can cope with)
                 It only costs a ha'penny
                 They don't know how I did it.
