Looking at the horses are the owners inpsired by the same sadistic buggers who inspire celebs to choose ridiculous names for their kids?

All Racehorse names have to be approved by the authorities. Once registered a name cannot be used again. Given the numbers of racehorses there have been over the years I'm surprised they can still think of anything to call them. whistle:

The Moan Ranger:
Mrs TMR (to be) has considered, doubtless after reference to her cauldron, that "Cloudy Lane" is apt to win it, although at those odds not worth a gamble. "King John's Castle" and "Risk Accessor" are deemed to be worthy of an e/w punt, should they be in the final 40 that run.

These predictions are likely to change when more "form" information becomes available.
