Long Hair
« on: March 31, 2008, 12:15:55 PM »
For chaps ~ in particular small boys.
I am trying to persuade my two that a haircut before they return to school would be a good idea. They are resisting the notion.

Is long hair back in fashion or not? I have no intention of them being shaven headed louts as are many of their school mates (what is it about baldness that all we older men fear but that younger men now seem to embrace?)

Trouble is that Minor and Minimus are looking a bit shaggy and could do with a tidy up, tonsorially speaking.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

The Boy lusts after the shaven heads of the rough kids from the "Estate" (Why does living in a council house =shaven head?)

He consents to a haircut when he can no longer see.

You are their dad. Assert your authority!

Buy a couple of packs of 'girlie' hair clips and say ''Haircut or these!'' They'll be in the barbers seat before you know it  eveilgrin:

It was Mrs Snoopy's comment about "Are you three planning on writing poetry or buying ribbons?" that started the problem.
