I need a new PC

My much hated Dell is finally giving up the ghost so a replacement is needed.
Recommendations would be appreciated but price is very much a limiting factor.

My lap top is fine (apart from the battery which won't hold a charge for more than ten minutes) What I need is a PC with a bit of oomph.

Thanx ~ I'll check them out tomorrow. Fearful that I may end up with Vista which I gather is still giving problems. Need to talk to them I suppose.

We bought Berek jnr a computer off e-bay, you just tell the fella what you need and he builds one to suit your requirements. We've had it about 18 months now, no probs.
