I've bought a tinned cheeseburger.  redface:

To do what with?

Taking it to Spain? Emergency rations?

Fried or grilled?

Grilled, perhaps with a drizzle of honey ohhhh and some chopped up pecans!

So far so good, but there's not going to be much room left for pancakes at this rate.

My Brother is off to India for work and whenever he goes he gets hamburger cravings. I thought it would be a funny joke.  redface:

We have caked our pans, or panned our cakes, either way the children are happy.

And for the little one, who has an egg allergy, we managed to find a recipe that uses arrowroot as an egg substitute that actually worked so he is really happy that he too could have a pancake. cloud9:

Ohhh maple syrup! Think I may have some of that somewhere.  rubschin:

Can highly recomend the dulce de leche, sort of toffee meets condensed milk.  cloud9:

I don't know if you've tried this one Wenchy. Put an unopened tin of condensed milk in a pan of simmering water for 2 to 2.5hr's, a really good toffee sauce

We forgot it was Pancake Day, so tonight was home made potato, leek and smoked haddock soup with rye & spelt bread. Can't beat home cooking smile:

We use that condensed milk trick as the filling for Banoffee Pie.  cloud9:

Very easy to make. Tossing takes a while to perfect though

Mrs Tel is not too keen on tossing, messy, but she enjoys doing the whipping.
