Has anyone ever read it?

I vaugely remember a great big bloody storm about it when it was released back in the 60's IIRC?
Was it really that horney? eyes:

I read it when I was teenager. Terribly disapointing from that point of view.  cry:

60's eeek: More like the 40's ... 1749 to be precise. Granted, it was republished in the 60's only to be banned again for obscenity.

Joseph Andrews (Henry Fielding, 1742) or Moll Flanders (Daniel Defoe, 1722) are much more fun. Nick may even concur if he's feeling charitable ;)

The Mills & Boon novels were the best as a teenager. ;)  There was another 'bodice ripping' publisher even more explicit - can't remember the name tho. Had pics of ladies swooning with hunky men slobbering over them on the covers.

Fanny Hill stuff- no problem on ebay.  Boys - you can even get a poster for your walls to lick!!!
