Hard to escape the conclusion the pilot forgot what aircraft he was in and the Air Show didn't care at all about safety.  Doubt they'll ever get to hold a show there again.

The detail they go into is amazing

I just searched through it to read paragraphs with specific terms in them.  Like 'Provost'

'Twas amazing luck that the canopy jettisoned and the ejector seat pyrotechnics partially fired without input!  eeek:

And that the other cartridges didn't take out one of the rescuers

Also interesting that the pilot didn't steer the aircraft down and eject.  He seems to have thought all along the the Jet Provost he actually wasn't flying would make it
