I am under the quackter for high blood pressure - hence no booze...  cry:
Don't they have Ramipril in the colonies then?  Go the docs here and if you look over 50 they seem to put you on it as soon as they can find an excuse.  And then they never let you off it - but you can still drink.

They have it but quackter wants to run tests first...  Thumbs:
See if they can do one of those 24 hour tests.  It's a bit of a faff wearing it but showed I was a classic 'white coat' high blood pressure person.  About 1 in 3 are.

But eventually over 10 years it crept up to the tablets for life state and I find that a right pain in the bum
Well, whatever, nevermind

Zackly. My mate Nod went to the hospital about a minor op. They explained it was painful, risky and not guaranteed to work. QUack then took his blood pressure which was, for some reason,  off the scale  ::)

Advised him to see his quack who checked and found it to be normal.  ::)

Also well known that nurses taking BP get lower readings than when quacks take it.

She wondered if it was white coat syndrome but we have a monitor at home and is shows the same...  noooo:

We tested yesterday and the 'extreme hypertension' LED blew up and embedded itself in the kitchen ceiling... facepalm:
