Different versions of software

I am working on a presentation for a conference I am speaking at next week. I am doing the presentation with a colleague. We detest each other but that is beside the point. He uses Office 2003 and I use Office 2013. Every time we exchange slide presentations by e mail everything gets jumbled up

The version he has just sent me seems to have been translated into Chinese

Figured that would be easier than trying to teach you how to save in 2003 format...

I can do that by backsaving but then when he sends it back the 2013 software doesn't like it
