Just seen an advert for HMV promoting vinyl n record players.....re-making all the classics albums... rubschin:

Not once it's bloody scratched it ain't, not trying to play them in the car they don't. 

I just can't find space for my vinyl player so I just buy those albums I've got as CDswhich then get into digital files.  It works

I still have all of my vinyl and a turntable which I can link to PC via a pre-amp.

I still have all of my vinyl and a turntable which I can link to PC via a pre-amp.

I couldn't bring myself to get rid of my vinyl - I have a cupboard full of it.... But I sold the turntable several years ago and have replaced the lot with digital copies anyway...

When I retired that was one of the tasks I was going to do, bought the scanner etc.

Over 1,000 days later, number of slides and negatives scanned:  zero

There are bucket lists and fuckit lists.  Guess which one it's on

As for vinyl the man has loads of LP's that he has never got rid of but had nothing to play it on . So last year his Christmas present was a turntable  ...he refuses to do digital  evil:
