Hill Climb
« on: November 19, 2015, 08:10:28 AM »
We have a hill climb event in the village on Sunday....  cloud9:

All organised without really telling anybody....  lol:

From 8am 'til 4pm the road from the beach to the village will be closed. It will be excellent, no crash barriers or access restrictions, power poles either side of the road all the way up, wandering goats and sheep.... what could possibly go wrong?  rubschin:

Will try and get some decent pictures....  Thumbs:

It is tomorrer....  cloud9:

The organisers have visited residents today to let them know that they will be house bound all day...  lol: This is the first notification anybody in the village has had if they are not members of the 'I love Pissouri' Faceache page.... ::)

Apparently, a single strand of red and white tape separates the biggest hotel in the village from the track so 5 Star tourists will be trapped all day or risk their lives amongst the competitors...  noooo:

Tears end in it will....  noooo:

Pictures from the quadcoptor... rubschin:

"The crash appears to have been caused by an erratically flying quadcopter that, according to eyewitnesses, was under the control of an eccentric bucket wearing pensioner known locally as Baldymort. One of the residents, a Mr A Peecee told us that he has a tendency to ram his garage door and that he has also sent off to the Guinness Book of Records to claim the record for the worlds smallest home cinema. Further investigation has uncovered a raft of accidents and strange happenings leading this reporter to suspect that he may in fact be related to the UK's own Ginger Shambles. Markets reacted negatively to the possibility that there may be two of them with the FTSE closing 200 points down.
